Prasit & the Story of our company
Prasit Ahibhunya
A brief introduction: My name is Prasit Aphiphunya. I am 57 years of age. I was born in Thailand. When I was 12 years of age I move to the US. for school. I graduated with master degree in finance from the University of Washington. In 1994 I move back to Thailand at the age of 25. My first BMW was the 1999 K1200RS. Then in 2004 I got my first R1200GS. I have been a BMW motorcycle owner for over 25 years. I was a committee and member of the BMW Motorcycle Club of Thailand. And I have an opportunity to organize and participate in many of the BMW MCT riding programs.
THAILAND BASED
2003/04
In 2003 was the first BMW MCT group international expedition into Northern Lao and the following year we also enter Southern Lao. In early 2004 we arranged the first ever expedition to Yunan China reach as far as Shangri-la total trip 25 days. That trip was the most memorable and adventurus experience we had. Since then we have been back to China 4 more times. At the end of 2004 we took another challenge to be the first group to explore North Vietnam 15 days. Then the following years we covered the South of Vietnam. For the last 4 years we have regularly entered into Vietnam with our tours. After 2007 until 2011 we organized private tour programs.
2011
In 2011 we decided to form our company. In this year I also had the opportunity to meet up with organizer of the One World, One GS Tour in Laos on his survey, and I was invited to participate in parts of the One World, One GS campaign as the first Asian in Laos. Then I was also invited to take part of the last section of the One World, One GS campaign in Europe. It was the most warm and memorable experience. With that occasion, I had the opportunity to get in contact with BMW Motorrad community. For the last 4 years we have regularly entered into Vietnam with our tours. After 2007 until 2011 we organized private tour programs.
2015
In 2015 I have participated the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany by F800GS. I was the longest rider from Thailand with Thailand Registered BMW F800GS bike to attend the event. After the event i attended the BMW International Tour Guide Academy, were I also met Roland from Germany and Marko from Finland, and soon afterward I was certified and became The Official Partner of BMW Motorrad for Thailand. On That trip in 2015 I’ve started from my house in Bangkok Thailand in April 2015 to Germany total distance is about 20000km total 3 months. The routes that I took was from Thailand, Lao, China, Mongolia, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, France and Germany. For the last 4 years we have regularly entered into Vietnam with our tours. After 2007 until 2011 we organized private tour programs.
Since 2015
Since 2015 I am operating RideAsia, offering programs for Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and China. Ride Asia was invited to present our Tours Company Platform and launching www,rideasia.cn at the 22nd china international motorcycle trade exhibition 2024 in Chongqing China. 2021-2023 After COVID we’ve started back slowly and have operated all our programs in South East Asia in Thailand, Laos. Vietnam, Cambodia, China and Tibet. In 2024 we have operated 2 groups to Lhasa Tibet one way. Since more than 10 years, we offer full all-inclusive programs. Our services include Motorcycles, Fuels (partly), High End Accommodations, Meals, Lead Vehicle, experienced Guide, Service Vehicle, Motorcycle Trailer and insurance. For the last 4 years we have regularly entered into Vietnam with our tours. After 2007 until 2011 we organized private tour programs.

ROLAND LANGENAU
Roland is a BMW-certified ITA tour guide and a passionate off-road instructor. He has been organizing and leading tours and training sessions for nearly 20 years.
KLAUS ULVESTAD
Starting of with vintage bikes in the late 80s, Klaus set off an around the world tour with a Nimbus 1938, hitting 75.000km in two years. Now he’s working with t3.fr. BMW.
MARKO WILLIG
Marko has over 30 years of experience as a guide. Over the years, his tours have taken him to many remote parts of the world. He is also a snowmobile guide in Finland.
Dennis is a seasoned motorcyclist with over 40 years’ experience and a lifetime of kilometres beneath his wheels. His riding has taken him through 25+ countries.
